Purdue's Robbie Hummel has won the StatSheet Big Ten Player of the Week award for the week ending February 13th. Michigan's Trey Burke has won StatSheet Big Ten Freshman of the Week. Hummel tallied great stats in scoring (20 pts per game) and rebounding (8.5 per game). The Purdue senior played well in a win against Northwestern and an unfortunate loss to Ohio State.

Hummel totaled 13 points and 8 rebounds in 36 minutes in an 87-84 loss to Ohio State. He then led all scoring and rebounding with a 27 point and 9 rebound performance in an 87-77 win over Northwestern.

This is the first StatSheet Big Ten Player of the Week award for Robbie Hummel. The runner-up this week is Ryan Evans, a junior from Wisconsin. Honorable mention goes to Jordan Taylor, a senior from Wisconsin. The highest ranking player from Michigan State was Draymond Green who finished 11th.

Trey Burke was on the floor an average of 36 minutes while starting both games for Michigan. In a 62-46 win over Nebraska, Burke tallied 5 rebounds and 5 assists. In a 70-61 win over Illinois, he put up 14 points and 3 assists.

Trey Burke has won the StatSheet Big Ten Freshman of the Week an astounding 6 times. Cody Zeller from Indiana grabs runner-up. Honorable mention goes to Andre Hollins from Minnesota. The highest ranking freshman from Michigan State was Branden Dawson who finished 5th. Michigan State has 3 StatSheet Big Ten Player of the Week wins this season.
